Essential Oils for Personal Lubricant

All-natural does not mean all-purpose. Many essential oils cause a burning sensation when applied directly to the skin.

Products that contain essential oils designed for skin contact (such as lotion or personal lubricant) include a ‘carrying agent’ that protects the skin barrier.

Although I routinely add essential oils to my favorite hand lotion, I strongly advise you against adding anything to your products that come into contact with more intimate areas.
